TouchLight licenced by Eon Reality through Microsoft's IP Ventures

Back in June I included a video of a Microsoft Research project called TouchLight in the keynote I gave at Eunis 2006 on how computation will affect the sciences and scientists.

Afterwards I had several interesting conversations about how .

It seems this is now likely that TouchLight will be brought to market this year by Eon Reality  who have announced that they've licenced the technology through Microsoft's IP Ventures.

There's an updated video on Eon's web site, and video interviews with David Harnett, Microsoft's senior director of IP ventures, on both ZDNet and News.com.

This news has been carried fairly broadly :-
